June Favourites

I can't believe we are already over half way through the year! 2017 has definitely flown by and during the month of June, I decided to go on the hunt for some new favourites and I've decided to share them with you!

Nivea Oil-Free Moisturiser £3.99:

I have been on the hunt for an oil-free moisturiser for ages, as I suffer from oily skin and when I saw this moisturiser by Nivea in Superdrug on offer for £1.95, yes £1.95 ladies and gents. I knew I had to give this a go, and I instantly fell in love, it is quite a thick moisturiser so a little goes a long way but itreally hydrates my skin without adding more oils and doesn't dry out my skin either whichsometimes I find this does occur with moisturisers targeted for oily skin. However, it does havea strong scent which I think is due to the Ocean Algae included in the ingredients, so if you'renot  fan of quite strong scented products I would say maybe this isn't for you.

Simple Dual Effect Eye Makeup Remover £2.47:

I saw this a few weeks ago while I was browsing in Superdrug and I was immediately intrigued, for one, I am a huge fan of the Simple skincare range and secondly, I have heard so much about makeup removers being mixed with cleansing oils to make it easier to remove makeup.

This handy lil thing is a mix of cleansing oil and vitamin water, so it really is kind to your skin. It's not too oily either which I do find is a problem with some oil based products ... yes I said oil based products can be too oily sometimes...This honestly took my heavy eye makeup off within 2 swipes of a cotton pad and it left my eyes feeling refreshed and it didn't sting either! The only bad thing I would have to say about this is that I'd like to have a bigger bottle of it! I don't think I have seen a bigger size than the 125ml which I seemed to use up really quickly!

Biore Charcoal Pore Strips £8:39:

Having heard so much about the Biore brand, I decided to test others with these pore strips as 1- They were on offer and 2- My nose had some serious blackheads that needed to be removed. I put the little pore strip on my nose, left it for 10-15 minutes and peeled off which, did pull my skin a little but not too much so I didn't feel any discomfort. And oh my golly gosh did I love (but also hate) what came off my nose! It literally stripped every blackhead I had out and ever since I've been using these, I have felt my nose feel so much smoother & have not had a blackhead since.

However, if you'd like to try a cheaper alternative to these before trying these, boots do their own 'Tea Tree' Pore strips for £4.99! They just as good as the Biore ones!

Boots Tea Tree Witch Hazel Spot Wand £3.89:

I picked this up on a whim about 3 weeks ago, because I was having quite a bad breakout and needed a quick fix as I was going out, I saw this dual ended spot treatment with tea tree and witch hazel ingredients - two things that help to reduce breakouts. One end was for the day and other end for night time.

AA Skincare Green Tea & Aloe Vera Cleansing Wipes £3.30:

I picked these wipes out as part of my Latest In Beauty subscription box and I have loved them ever since! They're so smooth and soft on skin and don't feel like they're pulling at my skin, which some wipes can feel like. They smell so natural and are paraben free. AA skincare is largely becoming a new favourite of mine, they're super affordable and full of natural ingredients too. I'll definitely be buying these wipes again! I used them every morning and night and my skin felt so refreshed after.

Pixi Vitamin C Wake Up Mist £16.00:
I bought this mist after seeing a few reviews by it from other bloggers and oh my so am in love with it! It smells so citrusy, exactly like oranges really. It also does really wake me up, I spritz it all over my face in the morning and it really wakes my skin up! As well as the AA Skincare wipes, this most is also paraben free! They do also have other mists too such as a makeup fixing mist, a glow mist and a milk mist which I am yet to try!

Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara £19.00:

Like the AA skincare wipes, I also picked this out as part of my Latest In Beauty box and it is safe to say this is my new favourite mascara! However it will never beat my holy grail Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara. But, it certainly does the job, the mascara helps to volumise and lengthen my lashes without clumping. The spoolee is also narrow to help get into the inner corner and lower lashes too! If anyone is looking for a new mascara definitely give this a go, the packaging is different too!

So there we have it! These are some of my June favourites, of course I could go on and on about all the products I loved this month but we would be here for ages! Do you have any June favourites?
