Biggest Haul I've Ever Done...So Far

After a few things not going the way I expected, I decided to shop! I was in dyer need of some retail therapy so decided to splurge a tad...

Beauty Bay:

It all started on Beauty Bay where I purchased the BH Cosmetics Eye Essential 7 Piece Brush Set for just £14.  The brushes are so soft and for the price, do a very good job, I think if you're just getting into makeup or want to get some brushes but are not sure on brands etc, this would be a good place to start.

I also bought 2 Jeffree Star Liquid Lipsticks in the shades Scorpio, how could I not buy a liquid lipstick named after my star sign? And Gemini both at £16. I love Jeffree's liquid lipsticks they're so long lasting and are so so pigmented! Scorpio is a taupe colour while Gemini is a light (ish) nude.

FeelUnique:

I have been dying to get my hands on the Mary-Lou Manizer by The Balm its usually around £20, but it was on sale for just £13.50 on FeelUnique so it was my chance to grab it. And since it made an appearance on my instagram I had loads of people telling me that it was their own holy grail highlighter, and I can certainly see why! It is such a good colour, especially on fair skin and it isnt too shimmery, as for me I don't really like a shimmering highlighter, The packaging is also really cute and vintage like which is always a plus!

Pixi:

I have seen so many people rave about this cult favourite so I had to get my hands on some of the products Pixi has to offer! I bought the Vitamin Mist £16 to help give my skin a boost during the summer as the skin can get very dehydrated with the hot weather and has such a lovely citrus smell to it, which is perfect for the morning when you spray it on your face, I really felt more awake and revitalised. I also got the Glow Tonic £18 which has been a top beauty seller since it launched, I wanted to see for myself what all the hype is about. They both smell amazing as well! I will definitely by doing a little review on these products very soon!

Boots:

Maybelline Fit me Matte+Poreless foundation £5.99: After reading a post online about the best drugstore foundations for oily skin and seeing this in it I had to try it out! I am in the shade 102 Fair Ivory! I have used this a couple of times already and it is a really buildable medium to full coverage foundation and it does really help contain my oiliness, especially around the T zone. I hope you can see from the pictures below that after I blended the foundation into my hand it left a real mattified look on my hand, whoch for me is a huge plus and I am really glad I got this.

Glycerin & Rosewater Toner £2.39: After my friend Holly bought this a few weeks ago and explained how much she loved it, I had to try it out for myself, especially seeing a snapchat story about how rosewater helps to decrease inflammation, reduce bacteria on the skin and also helps moisturise the skin! Glycerin also helps to moisturise and hydrate without making the skin oily - which is definitely what my skin needs! More recently I have also been seeing how more and more popular rose water is becoming within the skincare and beauty industry, I use this every morning and night, by just putting a little bit onto a cotton pad and wiping all around my face. Also at the price of £2.39 this is definitely something everyone needs to try!

NYX:

I love NYX, especially their Matte finish setting spray but I have never bought a lipstick from them and when I swatched this colour on my hand I instantly fell in love. I also saw it on Caito Potatoes youtube video when she did a swatch video of all the liquid suedes. I bought the shade 'Vintage' as you can see its a very dark kind of browny red, in my opinion.

L'Oreal:

I already did a little review on this product here. But I still did buy this recently, the L'Oreal Pure Clay Detox face wash which is currently on offer for £3.99 (it is usually £5.99) So if you fancy giving it ago, I suggest maybe buying it now while it is still on offer, as if you end up not liking its not like you've spent too much on it. However, I think people who like the L'Oreal Pure Clay face masks will also like the face washes too.

Superdrug:

Last but not least, I bought a metallic lip kit from Makeup Revolution in the shade, We Rule, £6.00. The metallic lip kit is gold type colour and thought it would look great at festivals or even over another lipstick too. This was more of a impulse buy as everything was on 3 for 2 and I did want to give this a go so I thought why not?

I also bought the Ultra Flawless 2 Eyeshadow Palette for (at the time, £5.00 as it was on sale) but it is normally priced at £8, which still is very affordable. The colours blend really well and for £8 you get a lot of colours. The colours work really well together and are really pigmented, which I was actually surprised with as I wasn't really expecting that much pigment from a palette that was £8, bargain!

  1. Great post, Iz!
The Pixi Products look lush; might just get the vitamin mist! Sounds like it smells good...
