When I first applied it, it wasn't I thought it would be, I initially thought there would be some microbeads to help exfoliate the skin and get off dead skin but that wasnt the case. It's quite a thick, smooth texture and a little definitely goes a long way. I put a raspberry sized amount onto my wet hands, lathered it and then applied on my face. It felt very thick, as I mentioned. After I washed it off my skin definitely felt smoother and I instantly saw a different in my skin the day after. Even without microbeads, I did feel like it got off impurities and dead skin, thanks to the clay.
L'Oreal Pure Clay Detox Wash (£5.99) |
It didn't irritate my skin at all which was also a bonus. I bought the 'Pure Clay Detox' out of the range that sells 3 different one, just like the face mask range.
This particular one consists of 3 pure clays & Red Algae to help the skin:
Red Algae: Helps to Brighten the skin for a natural glow, which anyone with dull and tired skin may benefit from.
Kaolin Clay: Helps to absorb impurities and get rid of any excess oil, which those with oily skin like me would definitely need.
Montmorillonite: Helps to eliminate any imperfections and is rich in minerals.
Ghassoul: Helps to clarify the complexion.
Having all of these essential pure clays and algae together helps the skin in all sorts of different ways, especially those with breakouts, oily skin or dull/tired skin.
I haven't tried / tested all of the pure clay range, but if you guys want me to I'd be happy! Comment below! Or have you tired any? Which one is your favourite?
Also, I have a beauty/fashion haul coming up! Would you like a long one or 2 small ones? I can't decide!
Thanks for he feed back! I would love to see a est of the full pure clay range!
